4 More School Days!

Sorry for the delay! We have been very busy this week. Let me show you what we have been up to!

Winter Art

We have done a number of art projects this week including Charlie Brown Snowflake Portraits and a Fox in the Snow painting project. 

 

Math

In math, we have continued to work on place value, base ten blocks and a Monopoly-like game called Cabins, Houses and Mansions. Ask your child what number is shown below.

Literacy

In literacy this week, students have been rehearsing their Reader's Theater plays and working on their fluency and expression. We have rehearsed Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Billy Goats Gruff, and Cinderella. 

Social Studies

In Social Studies, we have been exploring Alberta communities in the past, such as Calgary and the Town of Frank.
