Math!

Students have been developing their Mathematical reading and word problem-solving skills through the CUBES strategy. This is an expanded CUBES strategy that prompts students to think more deeply!

Pink Shirt Day!

Hello ROS families. On Wednesday, February 28th, we will be recognizing Pink Shirt Day. It is a day where we encourage everyone to practice kindness and wear pink to symbolize that we do not tolerate bullying. Throughout the day, students will participate in activities that inspire acceptance, care for others and themselves and will conclude with a school wide assembly. To show support, students are encouraged to wear pink or their blue ROS shirts.

For more information about Pink Shirt Day, please check out: https://www.pinkshirtday.ca/about

Attention Coffee & Tea lovers. Our current fundraiser is almost complete. We will accept any outstanding tea/coffee orders up until Monday, Feb 25. Please email rosfundraisingsociety@gmail.com with any questions. Lets warm up this chilly winter!!
Thanks so much for supporting our kid's school!
ROSFS

We would like to invite you to our Grade Three Celebration of Learning on the evening of Thursday, March 7 from 6:00-7:00 pm. This is our student’s opportunity to showcase the work they have been doing as an Architect in India and Peru. As well, students have prepared a special performance with our Music Specialist, Ondrea Mann. We have art, design, blueprints, interactive stations and so much more to share and are looking forward to seeing you there!

Also, please save the date for May 29th for WD Pratt’s Open House. It will be in the evening - exact time TBA.

Please also keep an eye open for ROS Student-Directed Conference bookings coming up March 21 (Thur evening) and, March 22 (Friday morning). There will be two families in at a time, where 15 minutes will be alternated between one-on-one time with Mr. Sandberg, and 15 minutes looking at your child's work.
