Alien Inline Skating

Alien inline skating at ROS begins next week on February 11. Mr. Sandberg's class skate times are below.

9:10-9:55am
Friday Feb. 22
11:35-12:20pm

Thursday Feb. 28
2:55-3:40pm

We will need LOTS of volunteer help with the Alien Inline Skating program. If you have a valid police clearance we hope you will consider helping our class to get into their gear safely and quickly. Please follow the link to sign up.

Math

We have continued our work on multiplicative reasoning through word problems. Students have been working through a variety of India and Bridge related word problems. 

Inquiry

We have been very busy designing bridges to cross India's Yamuna River. 

We have been using a variety of stories and articles to provide insight in Design Thinking, Architecture, and engineering. Some of the texts we have used are:

Students have also been comparing India and Canada using Concept Maps and Venn Diagrams.

Literacy

In literacy we have been learning how to find direct text examples from various architecture and engineering articles to support our understandings and arguments. Here is an article we used to find evidence to support our understandings.
