Tinker School: Day 1

Reminder

Volunteers: Please wear winter boots and bring indoor shoes. The campus is burried in snow and we do go outside for recess. Thanks!

-Please be at school on time, the bus will be leaving promptly at 9:20!
-Ensure your child's backpack has no unnecessary items in it.
-Dress for the weather -BOOTS AND SNOWPANTS for recess
-Bring a water bottle
-pack a garbage-free lunch. No microwaves or hot water available.
-Bring healthy snacks!

Monday, March 5
LEGO WEDO
We started today off with building some simple LEGO WeDo robotics. We built a automated "Grabber", a communication device, and a Moon craft.

We ended the day by starting the design thinking process and investigating some of the challenges that come with starting an extra-terrestrial city called CityX.


After using these amazing kits today, I was curious at prices. Below is a link for the price the WeDo kits we used.
