Boats!

Today we tested our boats. It was excited and many of our boats were able to transport huge amounts of cargo. Our next steps are to reflect on our boats and identify what we need to improve it. Ask your child how their boat test went and how they can improve it.

Jump Rope For Heart

Congratulations Royal Oak students and families, you are amazing! Our totals are in and you have raised $16,514 for the Heart and Stroke Foundation! Way to go! Prizes will arrive at our school by the end of the week. Thank you to everyone that contributed to this special cause.

Math

We have been practicing our double digit subtraction regrouping strategies, including using a number line and stacking. Stacking can be a complicated procedure to follow and students could all use extra practice at home.
