Let's Build a Boat/Dress Up As Your Favourite Storybook Character Day At ROS
Let's Build a Boat!
Next week we will begin designing and building boats to test in a series of water experiments.
Please help your child bring in a few waterproof materials to design and build their boats with by Wednesday morning.
Some suggestions include:
pop bottles, plastic wrap, foam containers, egg cartons, balloons, string, tin foil, popsicle sticks, margarine/yogurt containers
Dress up as your favorite storybook character day at ROS, next Friday, May 11th!
Please see below for some easy dress up ideas I have posted and given some ideas as to how to simplify them. Please do not feel this has to be an elaborate costume, just a fun way to celebrate reading :)
Students are encouraged to dress up as a favorite storybook character and if possible, to bring the matching storybook along at school. Students will have the opportunity to share their stories and costumes with a fellow classmate or friend in another class during buddy reading activities throughout the day. Please remember to refrain from dressing as movie characters or wearing masks.
