Storybook Theatre Next Week!
Storybook Theatre Presents: Treasure Island
A reminder that all of the Grade 3's will be going to the Storybook Theatre Presentation of Treasure Island on Tuesday, April 30th.
Because of the early performance time, we are asking that students arrive at the school at 9:00am on this day, if possible. Students are asked to meet at the bus (Located on the South side of the school) and their homeroom teacher will take attendance as the students board the bus.

Animal Life Cycles
This week we are continuing our study of animal life cycles by comparing vertebrates to invertebrates. Students have been reading articles, making annotations and Venn Diagrams.
Near the end of next week our Grade 3's will also be receiving a special delivery of caterpillars, which we will observe go through their life-cycle and then set free when their metamorphosis is complete.
Peru
This week we were very lucky to have a volunteer join our class and give a presentation of their trip to Peru. Students got to see, touch, and feel authentic Peruvian textiles, as well as, see many photos of various destinations in Peru and ask their curious questions to someone who has experienced walking the Inca Trail.
